I am so happy and honored to announce that I am the first female to be on the cover of LA Canvas Magazine. They’ve got a great writeup on me, written by Shana Nys Dembrot, with the portrait shot by Captain. LA Canvas is a free art/fashion/lifestyle magazine, and if you live in LA, there’s a good chance you already own your own copy, or have seen it around somewhere. But if you can’t get your hands on a magazine, you can flip through the pages online.
I am in the current issue of Audrey Magazine (Winter 2013)! I’m featured in a double-page spread, with an article written by the lovely Malissa Tem, and my portrait shot by my buddy, amazing street art photographer Todd Mazer. Find Audrey Magazine at Barnes & Noble or local newsstands.
In September 2012 my art was on the cover of ‘The Art of Players’, the special anniversary issue of Italy’s Players Magazine. The cover features one of my favorite paintings, ‘A Loving Monster’. All I knew I should probably take considering the amount of time Allison Torneros had so little to personally offer on the opening night of her HUEMAN NATURE solo exhibition at the Design Matters Gallery. “Rose and 4th has become the site of the newest mural in Venice, a work by Allison Torneros. The artwork is being displayed on the building that is now home to Wicked, a hair and make-up artistry space that opened on May 15th. Wicked, owned by a born and raised Venetian, offers full hair cut and color services as well as bridal and event services and classes on blow drying and make up.”
