This one’s for all the HUEMANS
My ring says ‘HUEMAN’.
This one’s for all the humans that bring color to this world. Let’s snap out of robot mode and unplug for a second, take a moment to reflect on what’s real…

May 5th, 1987. 1 year and 3 months old.
I’m at my parents’ house right now, and found this pic!!! It’s the first time I supposedly ever drew anything. My mom told me that my older brother came home from school (the same dear brother that I dedicated ‘The City’ to), and he showed me a mask that he made in his 3rd grade class in honor of Cinco de Mayo. I looked at the mask carefully, then asked my mom for a pen. I tried my best to copy the mask, drawing on the nearest piece of paper I could find, a newspaper.
THANK YOU EVERYONE! My Kickstarter project has reached (and exceeded) its goal of $4,000! Just look at that chart–donations literally jumped from 69% to 100% within a day! You guys are amazing. I will keep everyone updated on the making of this show, and if you’re still interested in grabbing some of the backer rewards (t-shirts, prints, original pieces, all with NO shipping fee), you still can. Kickstarter donations will stay open for the next month, and will close on August 29th. Cheers!
I’m excited to announce that I’ll be having my first major solo exhibition at Hold Up Art in Los Angeles! The show will open on December 3rd of this year, and will be up for an entire month. It’ll also double as my birthday show.
I’m pleased to announce that the artist collaboration I did with the North Face is finally in stores for Spring 2011! A while ago I licensed my artwork to TNF for their bags and apparel, and it’s an awesome feeling to be able to see my work on such a huge brand. For those interested in buying, below you’ll find a list of The North Face retail stores that carry the product, as well as non-TNF stores.

Back in 2009 AssemblyLine Collective did an interview with me about my work and my process. However for one reason or another, the article was never finished by the original writer. Though it’s rough and incomplete, I wanted to share this anyway because I feel like it describes my work pretty well. Enjoy!
I’ve been obsessed with Michael Jackson ever since I was a little girl. So it’s no wonder that I decided to celebrate my quarter century birthday with the theme of all themes – Michael Jackson! It was such an amazing party, complete with MJ cupcakes and catering by my best friends at the Nom Nom Truck. Pictures below!

The Brewery Arts Complex in Los Angeles is an old Pabst Blue Ribbon factory, home to over 500 art and design studios and galleries, and is home to many artists.
On October 9th and 10th, the Brewery held its Fall 2010 Art Walk. Despite my car getting t-boned on the way to the Brewery that Sunday morning, I had an awesome time. I loved being able to meet so many of you at my very first Brewery Art Walk. Check out the photos from the event and make sure to become a fan of my Facebook page!

Inception–everyone’s talking about it, and if you’re one of the few who say you didn’t like it, I can’t say that I believe you. But let me tell you one thing, I haven’t geeked out on a movie like this…ever! Well not since Avatar..
For someone who is obsessed with surreal visuals, paradoxes, puzzles, and well, just dreaming in general, this movie enchanted me.
