My first time drawing, ever

May 5th, 1987. 1 year and 3 months old.

I’m at my parents’ house right now, and found this pic!!! It’s the first time I supposedly ever drew anything. My mom told me that my older brother came home from school (the same dear brother that I dedicated ‘The City’ to), and he showed me a mask that he made in his 3rd grade class in honor of Cinco de Mayo. I looked at the mask carefully, then asked my mom for a pen. I tried my best to copy the mask, drawing on the nearest piece of paper I could find, a newspaper. :)
