Nom Nom Truck is a tasty little Vietnamese Food Truck in LA which serves up delicious Banh Mi sandwiches, and it was one of the first trucks after Kogi BBQ to help pioneer the latest food truck craze. It’s owned and operated by two of my very good friends, Misa Chien and Jennifer Green, and since its inception they have been featured all over the place, in Sunset Magazine, Travel + Leisure Magazine, and much more! A little more than a year ago, I helped Misa and Jen to develop Nom Nom’s brand identity. I designed their trademark monster mascot (the Nomster, get it? tee hee), their logo, truck wrap designs, and their web site.
I was featured in the Crave LA guidebook to female-owned businesses in LA! View my page in the book after the jump.
Well, hello.
You’ve stumbled upon my brand spanking new home. Gotta make this quick because I need to get ready to go out and celebrate my friend’s birthday, but! Before I head out I want to make sure I give you a proper welcome. So hey! This is it! It’s nothing special but I do like to think it’s better to navigate through. I brought my site onto the WordPress platform so that it would be easier for me to update the site as well as share content.
Look up at the Navigation bar– yes! There’s a SHOP link, for those who have been asking me about prints. I’ll be releasing a print in the next few weeks. The store will be up and running on August 3rd, so keep an eye out.
Ok, now look to your right. Uh-huh, there’s a YOUTUBE icon.. I’m planning on putting my old, naked Youtube account to good use by filling it up with time lapse videos of my artwork as well as footage from shows and whatever else. I’m learning to embrace social media…lol.
Oh, and I’ll be adding my ‘Digital’ gallery to the Portfolio section in the next day or so.
So there you go, new site. I do miss the fancy Flash menu on my last site, and if you miss it too, no worries! You can just click here and knock yourself out.
The CSUEB Pioneer gives a write-up about me, my art, and my graphic design career. Read Article Here.
I competed in Cut&Paste, a digital design tournament.. And WON! First place as well as People’s Choice Award. View photos after the jump.

I’M A HUMAN!!!!!
I’m so happy to say I’ll be spending MUCH more time in the studio creating actual artwork, and less time behind the computer, which has become my livelihood. After a looong internal battle (I’m talking full on war with myself; I’ll spare you the details), I’ve finally decided to follow my bliss. It doesn’t mean Circledot is no more, it just means there will be a shift of time and energy on my part. And I couldn’t be more excited!
A brand spanking new website is going up next week to commemorate this new–ok not new, more like improved, or updated–journey. Complete with a bunch of new artwork…and a new print release!

And because I haven’t posted on Tumblr in a long time, I’ll leave you with some visuals. Here are two party-inspired pieces I made in August 2009, because dammit, it’s a celebration! The following were based on random people’s Facebook Photos as well as Facebook Status Messages, as an observation of social media and narcissism.. (Apologies for the photos, I didn’t take these)
